Snön har smält, cynismen är död och kärleken spirar i asfaltssprickorna. I ett parallellt universum av såpbubblor, moln och drömmar samlas Uppsalas bästa dj:s för att fira att Marigold snart kommer att släppa sitt efterlängtade album. Det blir framtidseufori, evighetsdans och en jävla massa popcorn.
♥ Marigold
Sedan släppet av deras debutalbum ”Vagabond” har Marigold spelat på allt från Peace & Love festivalen i Borlänge till Trädgården och Debaser Slussen i Stockholm. I december förra året släppte Marigold EP:n ”Och så kom regnet” som hyllades av flera kritiker och bloggare. Sen dess har det hunnit hända väldigt mycket. Bandets senaste singel ”Allt kommer bli bra” (från det kommande albumet med samma namn) spelades på P3 bara timmar efter att den släppts. Bandet har med sin melodiburna hitbetonade 70-talsindie spåtts som ett av årets stora genombrott. Precis hemkommna från den legendariska South by Southwest-festivalen i Austin, spelar de nu för första gången i Uppsala.
♥ Poparazzi (Svart Klubb)
Från Svart Klubbs grav reser sig indiepopens okrönta kungar, skapare av svett och ovett. Det blir kulturell stimulans, göteborsk romans och framförallt dans dans dans. Och lite stök. Ganska mycket stök.

På övre golvet spelar Anna och Lisa från mytomspunna Klubb Juicy. De är skivspelandets motsvarighet till råsaftscentrifugen – en perfekt cocktail av pop och rock som garanterat får juicerna att flöda extra snabbt i kroppen.

Missarna bakom en av Uppsalas tyngsta electro-klubbar bjuder på kaxig electro och kanske lite nostalgisk hiphop. Det blir basigt, det blir tungt, det blir totalt förblindande neonbonanza.

The snow has melted, cynicism is dead and love is pouring out from the cracks in the sidewalks. In a parallel universe with soap-bubbles, clouds and dreams the best DJs of Uppsala are gathering to celebrate the release of Marigold’s long-awaited album. There will be euphoria, dances of eternity and a bunch of popcorn.
♥Marigold
Since the release of their debut album ”Vagabond”, Marigold has played everywhere from Peace & Love festival in Borlänge to Trädgården and Debaser in Stockholm. Last year in December Marigold released their EP ”Och så kom regnet” which was critically acclaimed by music critics and bloggers. Since then a lot has happened. The band’s latest single ”Allt kommer bli bra” (from the coming album of the same name) was played on P3 only hours after being released. With their melodic 70s indie the band has been predicted to be one of the breakthroughs of the year. Just arrived from the legendary South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, they are now playing for the first time in Uppsala.

From the tomb of Svart Klubb the uncrowned kings of indiepop rise again, creators of sweat and shenanigans. There will be cultural stimuli, Gothenburgic romance and no less than dance dance dance.
♥ Anna & Lisa (Juicy)
On the first floor Anna and Lisa from club Juicy will spin the records. Their record collection is equivalent to a juicy centrifuge – a perfect cocktail of pop and rock that will get your juices flowing for sure.
♥ Euphoric Felines
The misses behind one of Uppsala’s heaviest electro-clubs will treat you to cocky electro and maybe some nostalgic hiphop. There will be bass, gravity and completely blinding neon bonanza.
