Den 21:a februari anordnar alla 13 nationer sin egen gasque i de nya medlemmarnas ära. En gasque är en formell middag i studentsammanhang och är en av de roligaste traditionerna i nationsvärlden som innebär massor av sång, god mat, underhållning och trevligt sällskap.
Eftersom just denna tillställning är inriktad till våra nya medlemmar kommer ni därför att få lära er att sjunga dryckesvisor, skåla och allt därtill.Vi börjar med en välkomstdrink här på nationen, för att sedan tillsammans tåga till Universitetshuset för en välkomstceremoni tillsammans med alla nationer. Efter att vi tågat tillbaka till nationshuset börjar själva gasquen, och vi kommer bland annat att serveras en underbar trerättersmiddag, ett spex, ett framträdande av vår egen nationskör och sist men inte minst, sjunga mängder av roliga (snaps)visor.

I år har vi ett stängt släpp efter Reccegasquen, vilket innebär att endast de studenter som har gått på middagen eller står med på listan till släppet får komma in. Dear Recentiors!
The 21:st of february all 13 student nations of Uppsala organise a gasque for their new members. In the student world, a gasque is a traditional formal dinner, which includes dinner, speeches, entertainment and good company.
We will begin with a welcome drink at the nation and after that proceed to the University Main Building for a welcoming ceremony for all the new students of all the nations.
After returning to our own lovely nation, we will consume an awesome three-course dinner accompanied by delightful beverages. We will sing traditional Swedish songs and learn the right way to toast. We will listen to the choir and enjoy spex (that is to say short entertaining skits).
Does that sound attractive at all to you? If so, come and buy a ticket from 2Q Linn during office hours or via email. ( 2q@localhost) Tickets cost 280 kr with alcohol or 240 kr without and we cater for all allergies and preferences, which we are pleased to hear when you buy your ticket.
This semester we have a closed afterparty after the Reccegausque, which means that only the students that are attending the gasque or are on the guest list can attend the happening.
