Du har hört det förut: Det är medlemmarna som gör nationen. En någon sliten fras, men vi som varit med ett tag vet att det stämmer. Kalmar nation är en samlingsplats, ett tomt skal som varje termin fylls av otaliga projekt och galna idéer. De mest välbesökta aktiviteterna på nationen, som vid det här laget får betraktas som institutioner i Uppsala, började precis som sådana projekt. Det finns inga regler för vad som går eller inte går – kom och prata med våra kuratorer!
Om du vill engagera dig i höst söker vi just nu följande ämbeten:
Klubbvärd
Vill du vara med och driva nationen framåt och vara maskinen som får vår verksamhet att rulla på? Vill du lära känna dina framtida bästa vänner? Vill du vara med och göra historia? Sök till klubbvärd! Som klubbvärd får du vara ansvarig för både pub- och klubbverksamhet där du styr över baren och köket. Du får möjligheten att koordinera en arbetsstyrka på upp till tio personer. Dessutom får du KK-kort som ger förtur och gratis inträde till alla nationer, och får gå på gasque och bal med Uppsalas andra klubbverkare. Det är en otrolig möjlighet att prova på något du aldrig gjort förut – inga tidigare erfarenheter krävs.
Yogaförman
Gillar du att hålla på med yoga? Nu söker vi någon som kan hålla i regelbundna lektioner i Kalmar nations egen festsal. Yoga på Kalmar är gratis och det finns därför inget krav på att du ska ha erfarenhet som yogalärare. Det enda som krävs är att du ska vara såpass kunnig och driven att du känner dig bekväm med att hålla i en lektion.
Kulturförman (2 st)
Som kulturförman har du fria händer att organisera temakvällar på nationen och utflykter till muséer och andra spännande platser. Tidigare kulturförmän har organiserat så vitt skilda saker som chokladprovning, besök till Fotografiska och filmvisning. Låt fantasin flöda! Kulturförmännen förväntas jobba som ett team och hitta på ungefär två tillställningar i månaden.
Målaförman
Kalmar nations målaförman ansvarar för målagruppen som träffas regelbundet och målar. Som målaförman har du tillgång till material och lokal. Anordna tematräffar, planera en utställning, eller bara var kreativ tillsammans med andra – det är upp till dig!

Club Host
Do you want to be part of the machine that keeps the nation going? Want to know your future best friends? Would you like to make history? Apply to be a club host! As club host you will be responsible for both the pub and club nights where you supervise the bar and kitchen. You get the opportunity to coordinate a workforce of up to 10 people. Plus, you get a KK card which gives priority access and free entry to all the nations, and get an invite to a gasque and a ball with Uppsala’s other clubworkers. It is an incredible opportunity to try something you’ve never done before – no previous experience required.
Yoga teacher
Like to get involved with yoga? Now we are looking for someone who can be in charge of regular classes in Kalmar nation’s own ballroom. Yoga at Kalmar is free and therefore there is no requirement for you to have experience as a yoga teacher. The only requirement is that you should be sufficiently knowledgeable and driven that you feel comfortable to instruct a class.
Culture foreman (2)
As culture foreman, you have free hands to organize theme nights at the nation and excursions to museums and other exciting places. Former culture supervisors have organized such diverse things as chocolate tasting, visits to the Fotografiska and film screenings. Let your imagination run wild! Culture supervisors are expected to work as a team and organize about two events a month.
Painting foreman
Kalmar nation’s paint foreman is responsible for the painting group that meets regularly and paints. As painting foreman you have access to materials and local. Organize themed meetings, plan an exhibition, or just be creative together with others – it’s up to you!
